Still a few things I wasn't happy with, so it's no show-stopper but I'm happy with it. 1/48 Hobbycraft kit (and yes, those are the kit decals, helped along with a good coating of Microscale Liquid Decal Film!) with Aries resin for the cockpit. That was a great little piece of AM, fit like a glove.

Description. Here is my 20th completed model of 2013 - Werner's Wings' 1/32 scale Avia S-199 conversion. This conversion was done on Hasegawa's 1/32 scale Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-14, but the set provides a tall tail and other parts that will allow it to be used on the G-2, G-4 or G-6 kits too.
The Bf 109 is the worlds most produced fighter aircraft and the most produced aircraft in World War II. The Bf 109 remained in production after WWII in Spain and Czechoslovakia with the further developments Hispano Aviación HA-1112 and Avia S-99 / S-199.
Avia S-199 Sakeen Multirole Fighter VI tier 1. Developed in Czechoslovakia after World War II on the basis of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109. In 1948, some of the S-199's were purchased by Israel, which later used them during the Arab-Israeli conflict. These aircraft became the first combat-ready fighters of the arising Israeli Air Force.
