My summary: tank works great with no problems. Pod filter improves low amd mid IMO, with no loss of top end. Exposed filter is not an issue. Water resistant prefilters are available if you are worried about water. Motor access for maintenance is greatly improved.

KTM is not making a 2022 690 R… not sure why, my dealer doesn’t know neither, in any case, he said that even to try to order a 2021 model, it would not arrive until summer…. Sucks how Ktm website has all 2022 models, no 690 smc and no comments on it at all !!!
