If he's protagonist, he starts at 27, if he's Deimos, he's 20. Same for Kassandra. Pentan 5 years ago #3. According to the official Assassin's Creed Wikia entry (by Ubisoft) and Novel, Kassandra is the canon protagonist (heroine) and Alexios the canon antagonist (villain)!
Edward probably learned it later but we can use it before because animus. Haytham probably learned it from Edward. That’s different, Kassandra and Alexios did the leap of faith before it was even invented. Also, Kassandra and Alexios use Ikaros, but Bayek was the one to start that trend of having eagle companions, 400 years after Odyssey.
Alexios/Kassandra won't obtain additional copies of the weapon or armor in question. Instead, the item is upgraded to reflect the player's current level, becoming more powerful in the process.
Apparently Ubisoft themselves were surprised to see how the majority of gamers decided to play as Alexios and finished the game as Alexios instead of Kassandra. Meaning most gamers saw the story through his eyes. Yet, browsing though Reddit and YouTube a lot more seem to prefer Kassandra than Alexios.
